Nice concept and mood!.....I would clean the noise in the background and crop some at the top.....it is a little overexposed o some part of the ribbons.
I would also try to use all B&W.

Id rather have more room to the right of the cross... Other than that I agree with carlos on his points.

Very strong concept. To add to some of the crits, I think that it could be a little sharper as well. Deathrays for intruding branches, lol =)
